When I retired from The Hindu College, University of Delhi as Professor, for over 35 years I decided that I had to give back to society, whatever teaching, and the learning’s associated with it.
I decided to set up a group of colleges for professionals disciplines. The alumni stepping out with their degrees can help in their small way of building India and enriching society. If you are a seeker, you have a craving for knowledge. Knowledge when filtered with logic and practicality becomes “wisdom” This reality we at Innovative Institute of Law try to imbibe across all disciplines. We also make a sincere attempt to inculcate these values in our entire faculty, our governing council, our operational staff and of course all our students. This wisdom is amplified by the students when they go out in the open world and touch society in an enriching and humane way.

We look up to “Chanakya” the master strategist of ancient India for inspiration. Chanakya was an Indian teacher, economist, and political adviser. He is also known as Kautilya or Vishnu Gupta. Even as a child, Chanakya had the qualities of a born leader. His level of knowledge was beyond children of his age.
He played a key role in the establishment of the Maurya dynasty. Chanakya slokas are useful slokas for our day-to-day life and environment. His slokas give us very valuable insight into society and political life. Chanakya (चाणक्य) is one of the greatest people in ancient Indian history.
We believe in the age-old, traditions, true to India and its DNA practice of the “Guru Shishya Parampara” The Gurukul method of bequeathing knowledge and wisdom to our shishyas. We believe that each student when he comes to our colleges is a like small sapling with eagerness and urge to grow and blossom. We provide the sunlight for the nourishment that enables the sapling to grow into a full-fledged plant and then over the years into a strong tree. These trees when they grow in society they shower energy and positive vibrations in society. These vibrations are critical to a healthy society. So in the last 15-16 years, we have banyan trees, mango trees, and all sorts of trees benefitting humanity. This is our small way of giving back to society and enriching humanity.
We believe in the philosophy of our tradition and what our guru’s have taught us. Our tradition revolves around 4 basic variables. These are Sanskaar, Vyavhaar, Ahaar and Tyohaar. These 4 Control knobs of life teach you the importance and significance of respect, food, behavior, and bonding with society. This amalgam is the essence of a good life and we practice this at innovative Group of Colleges.
