Online Lectures in Innovative Institute of Law

Educational Institutes across India have been shut since mid-March in order to enforce social distancing, which is considered the best bet for Covid-19 prevention in the absence of a vaccination. To ensure that the academic calendar doesn't suffer much disruption on account of the lockdown, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has been constantly asking Educational Institutes to teach students through online classes. Innovative Institute of Law started online mode of teaching to the students in the month of April 2020 itself and is still continuing till further notifications from Government.

College conducted the lectures using Zoom and Google Class room. Students attended online classes with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. Parents also appreciated the efforts taken by the college. This was a new experience to students and faculty as well. The faculty and students adapted to the new online lectures module immediately. Numerous methods and tools of teaching learning such as Power point presentations, online whiteboard and various videos were used by the faculty to enrich the knowledge of students. Our members of IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) are assessing the performance of students on daily basis and also their performances in online tests, quiz, MCQs and various live projects. They are also given regular assignments and their online attendance is marked on daily basis.

Thus Innovative Institute of Law has continued the journey of Teaching and learning enabled with technology and we can say that - "Online learning is not the next big thing; it is the now big thing."
